Interactive Media Designer

About you...

We require someone whose role is to design & develop intuitive and engaging websites driven by back-end database and Content Management Systems for varied clients across multiple sectors. XHTML, PHP, MYSQL, XML will be second nature. A working knowledge of HTML5 would a definite advantage.

The ability to create apps for iOS, Android etc, interactive PDFs and iPad publications or desire to learn.

As our core business is packaging for the FMCG market the use of 3D software, would also be a plus. You will be expertly proficient in CS5, predominately Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign.

Have good personal communication skills, the ability to determine the 'brief'. This typically involves:

• Meeting the clients to discuss, timescales and design options.
• Advising clients on what is technically possible and researching alternative approaches.
• Ability to prepare concepts for client to presentation. This may involve sketching out some ideas or storyboards, or producing a few screens of information.
• Once a project has been fully approved:
• Produce the final files ready for publishing.
• Publishing sites.
• Integration of existing sites.
• App submission and testing.
• The ability work on several projects at once and meeting tight deadlines.
